On a perfect winters day in February we had our first ever brand shoot with Duntons Photography.
As well as photographing our sparkly new interiors and the details that make our boutique special, we wanted to capture the surrounding countryside that is home to Love in Lace.
The day started with makeup being applied flawlessly by Grace Benson, and after shooting several stunning bridal looks inside by designers including Vagabond, Bride Walk, Haarlem Bridal and Jack Sullivan, we moved into The Studio’s garden underneath our festoon light canopy. Peacock chairs from Locate to Create sat framed by our greenery hoop, in the exact spot that brides will look out to during their appointments.
We then ventured into the nearby woodland, bringing bohemian styled Persian rugs and some of our beautiful bridal wear. The light coming through the trees was magical and our models Becca and Miri looked ethereal as they moved through the branches. Our separates by E&W Couture were paired back with our blue veil and a quartz crown by Forest House, and to complete the look we added The Mermaid Effect leather jacket for a truly unique outfit.
The rolling fields opposite The Studio also served as fantastic backdrop, and the clear open space allowed us to hone in on the detail of the dresses, highlighting the embellishment and beading.
My personal favourites took place in front of the big pink barn, with its industrial and minimalist aesthetic. As our brides will know, pink is our favourite colour and you’ll see it throughout Love in Lace. Our pearl veil by Eden B Studio, and sleek satin crepe dress by Luna Willow created a modern bridal look.
Our outdoor adventure ended by the lake where the light was ‘just right’. With the pampas blowing in the wind, and our models reclining on a wicker bench fit for bridal princesses in Blush by Hayley Paige and Modeca designs, we completed our shoot and returned to The Studio where we raised our (pink) champagne flutes to a wonderful day!
