Back in May, we were invited to join a creative and forward thinking group of wedding professionals to shoot at the beautiful Elmley Nature Reserve in Sheerness.
Alongside Emma from Epic Love Story Photography who developed the concept and theme for the shoot, we selected a number of our contemporary wedding dresses and stylish bridal accessories to reflect the 70's boho-glam feel that we wanted to achieve.
We created four key looks and moved around the nature reserve to find the perfect spots for each part of the shoot to take place in.
Our sparkling Phoenix gown by Vagabond Bridal looked stunning against the black backdrop of the barn interiors. When styled with the gorgeous bouquet created by See Rose Floral Design, all of the colours and textures worked perfectly
together and really 'popped'. Chunky gold jewellery, and loose tousled hair completed the look.
This look screamed 'cool bride'. The open jacket styled with our tulle skirt from E&W Couture and velvet pink boots looked daring yet chic. Our model Jess reclined against the classic car, and posed upon the roof to get the perfect shots! And for the finale? We let off a pink smoke bomb of course!
Flower Power! Our second look from E&W Couture was our much loved 'Isla' dress. Its unique daisy detailed lace, worn without the slip dress underneath blended with the hundreds of flowers decorating the wedding ceremony set up. The floppy hat replaced the traditional veil and our boho-glam look was born!
As the sun went down, our fourth and final look came out. Slinky and minimalist, our 'New York' dress by Luna Willow Bridal was styled with our embroided veil by Aleksa Karina. Jess posed by the wall of the striking black barn, and the contrast of the sleek ivory dress and dark background created some striking imagery. The shoot then moved into the depths of the reserve, where we wondered through the fields during golden hour to take the last photos.
We wonder where our next styled shoot will take us? You'll have to wait to find out!
